I have been in the industry since 2014.
I think what inspires me the most is seeing someone’s reaction after we are all finished. The amount of confidence that can radiate from someone’s smile after seeing their new hair color or style makes even the long stressful days worth it.
If I could be any animal I would be a dog. Whoever said diamonds are a girls best friend, clearly never had a dog.
I remember my mom and I coming to see Kirby back when I was in high school. She was a “regular” and I always needed a fancy updo for homecoming or prom. After working at different salon in Omaha for 4 years, I decided to make the leap and I couldn’t be happier. It’s such a personable atmosphere and all of my clients love it!
My favorite place would have to be my grandparents house or anywhere surrounded by family! At all of our Thanksgiving or Christmas gatherings, we all get in a circle and count off before we eat to see how many people we have. It was something my great grandma LOVED. She always wanted to know how many people there were.
Call me old school, but my number one love will always be hairspray. I will always have one in my purse no matter how big or small. With one of my other passions being dance, I have strict rules before the girls go on stage. “Does your headpiece feel secure? Yes? Great. Spray it, and add 6 more bobby pins.”
